CARES Act InformationThe Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses. Payroll Protection Program An SBA loan that helps businesses keep their workforce employed during the COVID-19 crisis. Loans will be fully forgiven if the funds are used for payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities.
The U.S. Small Business Administration The U.S. Small Business Administration has low-interest federal disaster loans (up to $2 Million) for working capital to small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the Coronavirus. These loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills that can’t be paid because of the disaster’s impact.
